Holiday Greetings
A few weeks ago I decided to send a few watercolor postcard greetings, and was immediately immersed in research, design, and painting! I happened to have a few Strathmore postcards on hand, an even dozen as a matter of fact, and made that my goal. Some of the designs came from my own mind, others were based on photographs. I inked borders and holiday cheer, using my newest fountain pen and waterproof ink. A little gold glitter sprinkled here and there for joyful noise. And protected each with 3 layers of a watercolor varnish. I hope my friends enjoyed receiving them as much as I enjoyed painting them. Happy New Year and Welcome 2020!
