Nestling In

It has been quite an exciting week, wrapping up a cold wax and oil painting class, and then finally getting back to some unfinished work in watercolor today. In between work and sleep, I managed to stick it out with the Strada Easel Challenge, nearing the end of 31 days. I’m not excited about all of what I created last week, but, I am pleased that I kept at it, no matter how tired or unenthused.

Below is an example of what it takes to work in cold wax and oil, it’s pretty messy. And, one of the works in progress from last weekend…I actually have a plan about what I might do to improve it, so stay tuned!

   Kudos on sticking with the challenge. I am in awe! The ca oil paintings are emotional like some music, beautiful. Messy for sure
