More Trees…
The spring season has arrived, and with any luck there will more sunny days and fewer rainy ones ahead. I’ve been doing more tree sketches, and here are the final 6 from my assignment for Marla Baggetta’s Painting Trees in Pastel. Two of them I sketched from my yard, outdoors.
I really hope I can keep up this good habit of sketching from nature. One thing I noticed is that the more difficult or complicated I thought the tree would be to draw, the more deeply I had to look at it, and the better the final drawing came out. I just need to remember how much I enjoyed this assignment…now on to lesson 2!

Once again, I really enjoy them. Also, I loved how the composite pics came up in a scroll fashion with the camera data.
